Tayo'y Dabawenyo PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 12 October 2008
Sa dakong timog ng Mindanao
May isang lungsod na hinihirang
Ang likas n’yang kayamanan, ay walang kapantay
Mga bundok, dagat lupain, naging sagana sa pagkain
At ang magagandang tanawin, kadluan ng aliw

Mutyang Lungsod ng Dabaw, sa iyong paglalakbay
Sa mithing kaunlaran, ikaw ay paglilingkuran
Tayo’y Dabawenyo, na tapat at totoo
Pangarap ay matamo, kaluwalhatian mo
Lungsod na paraiso

(Repeat – Mutya ng Lungsod ng Dabaw)

O, Manuel A. Roxas bunying paaralan
Kadluan ka nitong aking karunungan
Sa mapag-palang bisig, hinubog murang isip
Pasasalamat ng puso, nais na isa-tinig

Salamat, salamat, sintang paaralan
Ngayo’y kami’y handa sa pakikipaglaban
Sa mabagyong buhay tangi naming buhay
Karunungan, katangian, sa amin ‘yong pinanday

Paalam na sintang paaralan
Sa dako pa roon di ko malilimutan
Kami ay magsikap sa mapiling larangan
At magsilbing pag-asa ng sintang bayan

Lupang Hinirang PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 31 October 2008
Bayang Magiliw
Perlas ng Silanganan,
Alab ng puso
Sa dibdib mo’y buhay.

Lupang hinirang,
Duyan ka ng magiting,
Sa manlulupig,
‘Di ka pasisiil.

Sa dagat at bundok,
Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw,
May dilag ang tula at awit
Sa paglayang minamahal.

Ang kislap ng watawat mo’y
Tagumpay na nagniningning,
Ang bituin at araw niya
Kailan pa ma’y ‘di magdidilim.

Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati’t pagsinta,
Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;
Aming ligaya, na ‘pag may mang-aapi
Ang mamatay nang dahil sa ‘yo.
