Atlas of Science Literacy Translated into Chinese
Cover shot of the Chinese translation of Atlas of Science Literacy

Think it’s a challenge to keep track of all the connections among learning goals on maps in your copy of Atlas? Try translating those maps into Chinese. Thanks to the China Association for Science and Technology and China’s Popular Science Press, Atlas 1 is now available in Chinese.

Science Examines Education & Technology
Science Magazine

In its 2 January 2009 issue, AAAS’s Science magazine examines how education is changing in the face of technology. A range of articles explore what one can learn from video games, the value of digital libraries, how large-scale testing might be improved by technology, where cognitive science meets education, and more.

AAAS members can access the full text of articles, but non-members can explore article summaries and abstracts as well as a video on the use of technology in education and a podcast with related interviews.

Browse the Education & Technology issue.

Founded in 1985, Project 2061 is a long-term initiative of AAAS to help all Americans become literate in science, mathematics, and technology. To achieve that goal, Project 2061 conducts research and develops tools and services—books, CD-ROMS, on-line resources, professional development, and public outreach—that educators, researchers, parents and families, and community leaders can use to make critical and lasting improvements in the nation’s education system.
