The Pebble in the Pool
When you drop a stone into a puddle of water, a wave forms from the center and expands outwards. This flash applet illustrates a composition of functions and allows the user to interact with the applet and predict the equation. One of several examples at the CRESMET web site at ASU.
This guide is a resource with materials appropriate for teachers of science at all pre-college levels featuring many assessment types with explanations.
Through this series of lesson plans for middle school through high school physics, teachers can select from subjects such as simple machines, light and electricity.
