The National Schools Maintenance Week dubbed as Brigada Eskwela is observed every year by every public school be it elementary or secondary. It encourages parents, barangay residents and youth in the community to volunteer resources and work for the maintenance and minor repair of schools. June 2, 2008 was the launching of Brigada Eskwela for 2008 at Manuel A. Roxas Elementary School. Parents troop to the school early morning to attend the said program. After the program people started giving their services.
